Odyssey House is looking for Part-Time Youth Mentor for our Youth Day Treatment Program!

Job Location: Taylorsville
Pay: $15.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday - Friday afternoon/evenings available

Core Responsibilities: We will teach you how to facilitate skills groups, accurately document services, learn healthy boundaries, and maintain client safety. You will coordinate care with clinical staff and be a direct line of support to the youth in our care. You also get to accompany the teens on fun recreation outings!
Day in the Life: You get to know our teens one on one in a deep and meaningful way! You get to give them a lot of attention and truly help them change their lives. You work to help them understand their healthy and unhealthy behaviors and help them change. You get to help develop therapeutic interventions for the youth, hold them accountable for these goals, and reward them for their excellent work.
Requirements

• Pass a background check
• Willing to distribute medications to clients
• Eligible to work in the USA
• Receive flu shot, TB test, and COVID-19 vaccine (spiritual and medical waivers available)
• One year of sobriety, if in recovery
