Job Summary & Deliverables

The Pharmacy Coordinator provides administrative service and support for the pharmacy department. The Coordinator assists with the completion of pharmacy orders, provides general customer service, completes administrative tasks, and supports the dispensing of pharmaceutical medications. They must be licensed as a Pharmacy Technician Trainee is DOPL.

Essential Functions

• Performs daily cash reconciliation and prepares bank deposits
• Rings out clients at the pharmacy pick-up
• Answers phones, emails, and Slack messages
• Verifies and organizes the daily medication order
• Fills invoices
• Verifies medication prior-authorizations with medical assistants and prescribers
• Requests refills from prescribers
• Prepares daily deliveries for pharmacy courier

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Pharmacy Technician Trainee Licensed in DOPL
• One year of customer service experience preferred
• Previous pharmacy experience preferred
