Behavioral Health Specialist

MyAdvisor provides support to those who are responsible for the safety and welfare of others by delivering preventative and integrated care coordination to private and public sectors. This care coordination, in turn, supports clinical tele-Behavioral Health, holistic wellness, navigational advocacy and family stability, and thus helps individuals thrive in their career and family life.

Job Summary: The Behavioral Health Specialist will be responsible for providing mental and Behavioral Health support services to military service members. Acting as a subject matter expert regarding Behavioral Health requirements and regulations, the BHS will perform Mental Health Assessments (MHA) and Post Deployment Health Re-Assessments (PDHRA).

Essential duties and responsibilities:

• Conduct Mental Health Assessments (MHA) and Post Deployment Health Re-Assessments (PDHRA) through telehealth portal in a remote call center environment.
• Triage and manage client contact including referrals to other resources if necessary.
• Complete required documentation associated with all MHA and PDHA assessments.

Education and Qualifications:

• Master’s degree or higher from accredited institution.
• Active state license to practice independently in mental health.
  1. Social Workers (LSW/LCSW), Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Professional Counselors (LPC)
• Minimum 2 years’ experience providing mental and Behavioral Health services.
• Ability to work effectively in a remote setting with little supervising, while achieving quality goals.
• Experience working with electronic health records and databases, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent organizational and multi-tasking abilities.
• Must have the ability to obtain SF86 Position of Trust.

Hours and Shift:

• FT/PT Available
• 1099 Contract
• Monday-Friday 3:00pm-11:00 pm
• Saturday 8am-4pm

Travel:

• Less than 10%
