Duties:
- Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor and record patient vital signs and medical history
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team to provide comprehensive patient care
- Educate patients and their families on disease management and preventive care
- Assist with diagnostic tests and procedures
- Document patient information accurately and maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations
- Utilize electronic medical record systems such as Cerner to input and retrieve patient data
Requirements:
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in a hospital or clinical setting
- Knowledge of medical terminology, ICD-9 coding, and laboratory procedures
- Familiarity with administering Botox injections is a plus
- Strong understanding of physiology and human anatomy
- Experience working with pediatric patients is highly desirable
- Proficient in using electronic medical record systems such as Cerner
- Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Knowledge of tube feeding procedures and protocols
