Position Overview: The ideal candidate for our Behavioral Health Front Office Specialist position will ideally have at least 1 year of mental health or medical Front Office experience. They will be responsible for making appointments following clinic protocol and procedures. Responsible for accurately gathering and entering patient information into the computer as received from the client as well as ensuring an efficient, complete, and timely patient registration process.
About Us: Restore Behavioral Health is a private mental health practice that primarily serves the Norman, Edmond, & Oklahoma City areas. We also provide telehealth services throughout the state. We opened our doors 8 years ago and continue to adjust, expand and grow to meet the needs of our clients.
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
- Greet clients
- Provide a great client experience by being friendly, helpful and compassionate
- Answering incoming calls, text messages, emails, & faxes
- Schedule patient appointments
- Checking patients in/out. Gather all necessary information needed to process appointment, including demographics, insurance information.
- Verify and correct patient information errors in EMR system.
- Payment Collection (copays, deductibles & patient balances) at the time of service
- Performing other duties as assigned
- Be welcoming and available when clients come in for appointments.
- Other duties may be assigned.
- Ensure that all professional services are correct and complete. Meet established quality and productivity standards for self and for the team.
- Ensure patient confidentiality adhering to HIPAA guidelines.

Qualifications and Skills:
- Align with Restore Behavioral Health mission, vision, and values.
- Ideally, but not required, 1 year experience in Behavioral Health or Medical Front Office.
- Education Required - High School minimum with experience. (Consideration will be given to candidates with the appropriate combination of education, training and experience.)
- Be highly organized and detail oriented in order to manage multiple tasks at once. Outstanding organizational skills.
- Reliability to be at work when scheduled and on time, reliable and dependable.
- Solid working knowledge of Google Sheets and Docs.
- Good oral & written communication skills.
- Ability to multitask.
- Be outgoing, friendly, easily connect with others and have a solid sense of empathy.
- Be able to learn and operate Simple Practice EHR, Phone System, Office 365, Teams and other technology proficiently.
- Be a team player, work well with administrative and clinical staff and have a passion for helping others.
