Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavior Coach to join our team. As a Behavior Coach, you will work with individuals with developmental disabilities and autism, providing support and guidance to help them achieve their goals. Responsibilities:
- Implement behavior intervention plans based on applied behavior analysis principles
- Provide one-on-one coaching and support to individuals with developmental disabilities and autism
- Assist in the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans
- Conduct assessments and collect data to monitor progress
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated care
- Provide crisis intervention when necessary
- Maintain accurate and confidential medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Stay up-to-date on current research and best practices in behavior management
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in psychology, special education, or related field
- Certification in applied behavior analysis (ABA) is strongly preferred
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and autism
- Knowledge of medical terminology related to behavioral health
- Familiarity with crisis intervention techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
