BT/RBT
Full/ Part time
If you are looking for meaningful work with opportunities to grow in the field, this is an amazing position for you! Work directly with children diagnosed with autism guided by the knowledge of an experienced supervisor. Be trained on evidence-based teaching methodologies to increase skills and decrease behaviors that interfere with an individual's life. This is an in-clinic position. There is no driving from house to house and support is available during every session.
Education & Training:
- Must have high school diploma or have GED.
- College courses or degree in mental health are desirable but not required.
Certification & Training:
- Must have completed or be able to complete a 40 - hour RBT training and pass Registered Behavior Technician exam.
Skills
- Provide appropriate and approved therapy for clients under the supervision of a BCaBA or BCBA.
- Take data on target behaviors.
- Maintain a professional attitude with clients, caregivers, coworkers, and supervisors.
- Uphold the RBT ethics code.
Other
- Must be able to work a 2-3 evenings until 6pm
