Job Summary: Healing Haven provides behavioral services to families of children with autism between the ages of 2 and 16. We are seeking dedicated and energetic individuals to join our team to provide 1:1 therapy to increase communication, socialization and play skills. Training and certification provided.

Minimum Requirements needed to apply for the ABA Therapist opening:
- Bachelor's Degree not required, but preferred
- Professional references
- Reliable means of transportation
- Clean criminal history
- Maintaining respect and confidentiality for all clients
- Ability to walk, run, lift, squat, bend, push/pull 30 pounds as needed for therapy services
- Ability to efficiently write and communicate verbally
- Ability to work supportively with other professionals and staff
Summary of Essential Job Functions of the ABA Therapist:
- Implementing individualized behavior analysis programming during one-on-one therapy sessions as set forth by a BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst);
- Implementing BIPs (Behavior Intervention Plans) specific to client as set forth by a BCBA;
- Remaining current and knowledgeable on all client programming by reading supervision and consultation notes provided by BCBA and applying all contents to therapy sessions;
- Training incoming staff members on Applied Behavior Analysis practices and those specific to Healing Haven, LLC;
- Completing an accurate daily log of all billable interactions and billable service hours for the Client chart and reporting all information to Company;
- Recording all behavior analysis programming in adherence to data collection guidelines set forth by Healing Haven, LLC;
- Maintain punctual and consistent attendance to avoid client therapy disruption
- Other activities generally performed by an ABA Therapist that are directly related to behavioral analysis such as activities related to oversight of Company programs and employees.
- Obtaining/Maintaining Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) and Quality Behavioral Solutions (QBS) Safety-Care Training.

Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour

9:15am Spent time in the gym and playroom. Collected data on Social: Greetings, and Listener Responding: ID Community Helpers. Played in the gym with peers and recorded 5 independent requests.
9:30am Transitioned to Speech. Assisted with prompting and reinforcement during speech session.
10:00am Went outside for a walk, recorded 3 independent requests, and tolerated denied access to the swing.
10:15am Client became upset waiting for the swing in the gym, tantrum behavior recorded for 8 minutes.
10:30am Attended group and recorded data on group instruction target. Client engaged with smart board for 5 minutes.
