Behavior Technician Job Description

Position:

Part-time with future full-time potential Start date end of April/Beginning of May

Compensation:

Compensation is highly competitive and will be based on previous experience. Opportunities for pay increases upon completion of training and performance reviews.

BCBA/Owners

Summary of Position:

The Behavior Technician will provide one-on-one treatment for children with Autism ages 2 to 21 using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). You will implement learning programs under the direct supervision of a BCBA, collect data on target behavior, and meet with supervisors regularly.

Responsibilities:

• Focus on changing the child’s behavior by observing and measuring the behavior in real-life environments.
• Gather behavioral data via paper data.
• Implement learning programs as written and instructed by BCBA
• Complete all mandatory training and refresher training

Position Requirements:

• Must be willing to act like a “goof-ball”
• Good verbal communication
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Desire for continued learning opportunities
• Able to take feedback and learn from feedback
• Reliable attendance record
• Complete all necessary training requirements (all training is done in person or online with no costs to you)
• Must have at least a high school diploma.
• Preference for those attending college or have attended college with degree in psychology or related healthcare field.
• Must have a valid Michigan driver’s license with proof of coverage.
• Must be able to pass a background check.

Salary: From $15.00 per hour
