Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavior Technician to join our team. As a Behavior Technician, you will play a vital role in providing support and assistance to individuals with developmental disabilities. Responsibilities:
- Implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Collect data on client behaviors and progress towards treatment goals
- Assist in conducting patient assessments and developing individualized treatment plans
- Provide direct one-on-one therapy to children with developmental disabilities
- Utilize applied behavior analysis (ABA) techniques to teach new skills and reduce challenging behaviors
- Monitor and document patient progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as needed
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines when handling medical documentation and records
Qualifications:
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, preferably children
- Knowledge of behavioral health principles and applied behavior analysis (ABA)
- Familiarity with data collection methods and techniques
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Note: All positions must be paid, including internship positions.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $560.00 - $680.00 per week
Expected hours: 40 per week
