Essential Duties & Responsibilities include the following:
1. Seek input and maintain effective communication with families, teams and outside entities.
2. Write and modify initial treatment plans, behavior plans and support plans for FPS clients as needed.
3. Generate quarterly progress reports for FPS Families.
4. Develop and implement skill acquisition plans that teach functional skills within the home, classroom or community.
. Foster and develop working relationships with support coordinators, therapists and home support staff.
6. Collaborate with other Therapy Center and Academy staff.
7. Train existing home aides on program implementation and model basic strategies for behavior support within the home and community environment.
8. Participate in any additional activities or events as requested by the department supervisor.
Position Financial Responsibilities:
Each Family Partnership Consultant will be responsible for billing agencies such as FCBDD for services based upon a goal developed with the direct supervisor. Updates will be made based on the number of hours approved by county boards and each Family Partnership Consultant’s billing caseload.
Qualifications/Abilities:
A minimum of certification by the Behavior Analyst Certification board as a BCBA, or BCaBA or working towards National Board Certification by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board. They must have effective communication and exceptional verbal, nonverbal, written, and listening skills to include excellent organizational and time management abilities. They will have good reasoning skills and sound judgment and can skillfully manage both small and large group settings and individuals effectively. They must have strong time management and attention to detail skills in order to interpret information and complete required paperwork timely and accurately with the ability to initiate effective responses and actions. They will have excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills promoting a positive work environment acting as a role model to staff, promoting professionalism and enthusiasm and can maintain acceptable attendance and punctuality. They must be flexible and have the ability to get along with diverse personalities, displaying tact and maturity at all times and can uphold the vision, mission and values of Bridgeway Academy.
