SalaryDelivery Driver
Craft beer company is seeking a full-time Delivery Driver to deliver beer in New York and New Jersey, Tuesday-Friday. The company is based in Mount Vernon NY and beer (cases and kegs) will be delivered to grocery stores, restaurant, bars, and liquor stores throughout the area.
Duties:
- Safely and efficiently transport products from the warehouse to designated locations throughout NYC and NJ
- Provide exceptional customer service when delivering product
- Follow assigned routes and delivery schedules to ensure timely deliveries
- Deliver beer safely and intact using hand trucks, forklifts
- Verify the accuracy of delivery orders and obtain necessary signatures or proof of delivery
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while operating company vehicles
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of delivery vehicles
- Communicate with dispatchers or supervisors regarding any issues or delays during deliveries
Experience:
- Previous experience as a Delivery Driver, courier, or in a similar role is preferred
- Familiarity with route driving and navigating various locations throughout the five buroughs
- Experience using hand trucks, pallet jacks, forklifts, or other equipment for loading/unloading is beneficial
- Must be able to lift over 55lbs repeatedly (some kegs weigh in excess of 150lbs)
- Must have a valid, clean driver's license - we will perform a driving record check prior to employment
