Basel Regulatory Reporting Lead Analyst, Vp (Hybrid)

Employee responsible for leading various RWA (Risk Weighted Assets) Regulatory Reporting as part of quarterly filing and restatement activity. The analyst will also manage critical automation efforts to improve straight through processing of regulatory filings. This position will require versatile experience to lead a complex process, utilize broader thinking skills of a seasoned leader, infuse operational discipline into teams existing process, lead strategic planning with senior leaders, establish guidelines and implement auditable controls and execute on strategic plans. Incumbent will be required to quickly build an in-depth and thorough understanding of Basel reporting requirements and utilize knowledge of systems (Optima, CitiRisk, RegInsight, Pearl etc.) and process flows to ascertain and opine on identified issues.
Responsibilities:

• Regulatory Reporting Lead responsible for:
• Team leadership
• Regulatory report preparation and filing (FFIEC101, Y9C, FFEIC 031, Pillar 3 disclosures)
• Quarterly restatement execution
• Monitoring and reconciling RWA Reporting to Citis financial books and records and other Key Regulatory Reports
• Analyzing variances within the RWA Regulatory Reports
• Delivering executive presentations on regulatory results
• Supporting the automation efforts of RWA Reporting and Analytics
• Ensuring a strong control environment for Citis Standardized and Advanced RWA Reporting and Analytics in support of internal and external audits

Qualifications:

• 6+ years of work related experience
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required
• Advanced Microsoft Access skills preferred, Basic Microsoft Access skills required
• Solid analytical background and skill set with demonstrated experience in reconciliation - Data Tracing - Data Mining
• Experience with financial and Regulatory Reporting
• Experience working with large volumes of data from disparate sources
• Experience with high visibility project development and project management
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Confidence and ability to work with all levels of management
• Pro-active and goal-oriented strategic thinker

Critical Competencies:

• Bachelor's Degree/University degree or equivalent experience
• Master's degree preferred
• Experience with advanced finance and risk concepts within the financial sector
• Advanced experience with the Microsoft Office suite tools
