Baseball Park Foreman

Job Summary

• Sports Field Maintenance maintains an 8-field artificial turf baseball facility at Championship Park in Kokomo, Indiana. We maintain fields for weekend baseball tournaments from March until November. During winter months we repair and renovate fields and equipment.
• Duties include training, supervising during weekend baseball tournaments, setting field dimensions for weekday games and practices, and general maintenance on fields and surrounding structures.
• The Foreman will assist with supervising a cleaning crew of 2 to 4 members during baseball and softball tournaments on weekends.
• All tournaments occur on Spring, Summer and Fall weekends. As such, the Foreman will be required to work all weekends from the end of March until the end of July plus weekends in September and October.
• Our Foreman position is year-round and the entry position into management at this facility. There is substantial opportunity for growth and advancement for this position within our company structure.

Qualifications and Skills

• Previous experience with artificial turf repairs.
• Paid professional experience with a zero-turn mower
• Knowledge of baseball and softball field setup and dimensions
• Must be able to lift 100+ pounds on a regular basis
• Bilingual is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 46 per week

Experience:

• Artificial turf repair: 1 year (Preferred)
• Management: 2 years (Required)
• Paid professional mowing: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Required)

Ability to Relocate:

• Kokomo, IN 46901: Relocate before starting work (Required)
