Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers
- Interact with customers, take orders, and provide recommendations
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area
- Check identification to ensure customers are of legal drinking age
- Adhere to all relevant health, safety, and sanitation guidelines
- Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register
- Monitor alcohol consumption and prevent over-intoxication
- Upsell additional food and beverage items to increase sales
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate order delivery
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a bartender or in a similar role preferred
- Knowledge of Point of Sale (POS) systems and cash register operation
- Strong math skills for calculating bills, handling cash, and making change
- Excellent hospitality and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic knowledge of different types of alcoholic beverages and brewing methods
