Server/ Bartender
Part Time
$8.98/hr + Gratuities

7:00 AM – 3:00 PM (Weekends, Holidays, Flexible Availability)
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Mix and serve drinks to patrons, directly or through wait staff
- Check identification of customers to verify age requirements for purchase of alcohol
- Clean glasses, utensils, and bar equipment
- Clean bars, work areas, and tables
- Take food and beverage orders with accuracy
- Serve wine, and bottled or draft beer
- Collaborate with other restaurant servers and kitchen staff
- Mix ingredients, such as liquor, soda, water, sugar, and bitters, to prepare cocktails and other drinks
- Arrange bottles and glasses to make attractive displays
- Issue bills and accept payment
- Ensure expedient service of food and beverages
- Demonstrate a positive attitude at all times and willingness to help
- Handle guest concerns with a positive attitude
- Answer questions or make recommendations for complementary products
- Present restaurant menus and help customers select food and beverages
Qualifications and Skills:
- 1-year bartending experience
- Must be flexible to work holidays, evenings, and weekends
- Ability to work under pressure and take initiative in a fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude and a willingness to learn
- Effective interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
- Must have a neat appearance and be well-groomed
Physical Demands:
- Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 8 hours)
- Be able to reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift up to 35 pounds and occasionally lift/move 50lbs
