Position Summary:

The Bartender is responsible for maintaining the bar area, serving restaurant and bar patrons at the bar and filling drink orders for the Firestone Grille. The Bartender must have extensive knowledge of liquor mixed drinks, beer, and wine. Thinking quickly, awareness of surroundings and monitoring patrons for signs that they have had too much alcohol are also skills required to do this position well.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

· Greet all guests in a friendly and welcoming manner.

· Create an atmosphere that allows guests to feel welcome, comfortable, important, and relaxed.

· Take accurate food and drink orders.

· Select and mix ingredients, garnish glasses, and serve beverages to customers.

· Process payments efficiently and accurately.

· Take inventory and order supplies to ensure facility is well stocked.

· Plan drink menu and inform customers about new drinks and specials.

· Available to work overtime when required.

Technical and Physical Requirements

· High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

· Previous bartending experience required.

· TIPS certification preferred.

· Customer Service experience is a must.

· Working knowledge of spirits and related beverage items.

· Meets state minimum age to serve alcohol.

· Ability to stand for long periods of time.

· Ability to bend, stoop, lift, rotate, reach.

· Ability to lift 50 pounds.

Job Type: Full Time or Part Time

Pay: $28.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 55 per week
