Colonial Country Club, managed by Bobby Jones Links, is hiring for Bartenders/Servers. Home to a Gene Hamm designed 18 hole golf course for more than 50 years, Colonial Country Club is a private club steeped in tradition and known for its well-appointed amenities providing family-friendly programming and superior member service. Located in Thomasville, North Carolina, just moments away from the Piedmont Triad, Colonial Country Club is a family-oriented club with an extensive pool complex, fine dining, and a multitude of activities.
Responsibilities of the Bartender/Server at Colonial Country Club include:
- Inspecting the bar prior to opening to ensure that adequate supplies are available.
- Requesting additional supplies as necessary.
- Following set-up procedures.
- Preparing garnishes, mixes and pre-mixed drinks.
- Greeting members and guests according to Bobby Jones Links’ standards.
- Mixing, preparing and serving drinks according to the recipes approved by the Beverage Manager.
- Collecting checks/payment for drinks served.
- Reporting complaints to a manager as soon as they occur.
- Keeping records of liquors, beers, wine, and sundries to ensure par stock is always maintained..
- Attending staff meetings as required.
- Assisting with food servers and hostess if needed and based on daily staffing requirements and shortages.

- Must have a thorough working knowledge of the club’s operation.

- Lift up to 25 lbs. regularly; up to 50 lbs. occasionally and to lift overhead and push/pull, move lighter objects.
