Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and friendly Bartender to join our team at KOP Grill& Tavern.

As a Bartender, you will play a key role in creating memorable experiences for our guests. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring a positive dining experience for our guests. If you have excellent communication & organizational skills and enjoy creating delicious cocktails and beverages, we would love to hear from you!

Bartender Duties

• Mix and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and customer preferences.
• Greet and engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, taking orders and providing recommendations as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including regular cleaning of surfaces, washing glassware, and restocking inventory.
• Process payments accurately and efficiently, including handling cash and credit card transactions.
• Upsell and provide recommendations on menu items and weekly specials.
• Perform all posted side work each shift.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service.
• Adhere to food safety and hygiene regulations.

Job Qualifications

• Previous experience working as a bartender in a similar environment preferred.
• Strong knowledge of different types of alcohol, including cocktails, beers, and wines.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of Clover POS system is a plus!
• Must be of age to serve alcoholic beverages.
• Ability to handle cash transactions accurately.
• Familiarity with food safety regulations.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $6.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 per week
