Summary/Overview Section

We are hiring immediately for numerous positions to fulfill our clients' high demand and needs. A.S.I. is a local temp agency based in San Antonio, Texas. We provide employees with incredibly flexible schedules with a wide variety of shifts for only a day at a time. They're available through our request board, so you can choose what days you work and how often you'd like to work. Bartenders work directly with and provide customer service experiences, mixing and serving drink orders for our client's guests. 

Your responsibilities would include:

• Upholding TABC laws and regulations, such as verifying age requirements. 

• Knowing how to make traditional drinks.

• Managing and protecting inventory.

• Stocking supplies, including alcohol, ice, glasses, and anything else required to run the bar during shifts completely.

• Cleaning bar supplies and setting up/tearing down bars.

Skill and Qualifications Section

You must have the following:

• A current and non-expired TABC certificate.

• A current and non-expired Food Handler's certificate. 

• Previous knowledge about beers, wines, and how to build various alcoholic cocktails. 

• Friendly, polite, and professional with guests. While English is required by most contracts, bilingual capabilities can be beneficial but are not required. 

• Able to lift up to 50 lbs safely. Ex) Lifting cases of beer or wine, buckets of ice, or breaking down and helping move collapsable tables. 

• Trained in both front of house and back of house safety.

Pay and Benefits Section

We pay well above the industry standard wage in Texas of $2.13/hr. Depending on the client and the contract for the day, you can typically expect to earn between $15 and $20+ an hour but never less than $15/hr, before tips. If a client specifically requests you, you can expect to receive an increase of around $2/hr in addition to your hourly wage for that shift. For whatever reason, you show up to your shift, and they don't need your additional help, and you are sent home; you will receive pay for four hours, guaranteed, just for showing up on time and being ready to work in complete uniform. We get paid weekly in the form of a physical check for the previous week's work. Plus, there are referral bonuses for bringing on new members to our team for both parties involved. 

The nature of our business is very flexible. There is no minimum or maximum to the hours required to work within any given time frame. You only have to work the shifts approved by ASI, which you requested, or the shifts that ASI has requested of you, which you approved. If you are approved for a shift and cannot work it for whatever reason if given 24hr notice, you can give up the shift without any negative consequences.

Uniform Requirements from our clients. 

• Black leather shoes, cannot be tennis shoes. 

• Black leather belt. 

• Black dress pants, cannot be skin tight or dickies. 

• Black button-up long-sleeve shirt. 

• White button-up long-sleeve shirt. 

• Long black tie. 

• Black bowtie, cannot be clip-on. 

• Long black socks. 

• No significant or noticeable stains, wrinkles, or holes.

• You must be ready to work in your clean uniform by the predetermined start time. 

A.S.I. Uniform Requirements

• A winekey, lighter, and pen will be invaluable tools while working, so we consider them part of your complete uniform.
