THE JOB:
As a Bartender, you will be responsible for being knowledgeable of menu items, liquor brands, beers and non‐alcoholic selections as well as maintaining the appearance of the bar. In this role you will work at various bars around the property and will be expected to perform all responsibilities at each location. You will also set the stage for guest experience with your welcoming smile and service. By understanding their unique stories and needs, you will own their experience to create WOW memories they will carry with them far and beyond their stay with us.
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
Make and serve alcoholic and non‐alcoholic drinks, proportioning ingredients according to standardized recipes and provide food service as needed.
Clean equipment, tools, and supplies and ensure equipment is in good working order, including, cleanliness, sanitation, and appearance of the bar.
Assist with delivering product to ball rooms, setting up and breaking down bar.
Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of menu offerings, including liquor brands, beers, and non-alcoholic selections, to facilitate informed guest recommendations and enhance the overall experience.
Efficiently handle beverage transactions, including ringing up orders, processing payments, and adhering to cash handling protocols, while accurately maintaining daily reports and paperwork.
Provide guidance and mentorship to Apprentice Bartenders and Bar Porters, imparting expertise on bar operations, guest service principles, and bartending techniques.
Monitor and manage bar inventory levels in accordance with established guidelines and internal controls, proactively replenishing stock as needed to meet demand.
Address guest complaints promptly and effectively within the scope of authority, escalating issues as necessary to management or security, and promptly reporting any unusual events, discrepancies, or incidents.
IDEAL CANDIDATE:
Prior bartending experience.
Prior experience working in a high-volume setting.
Prior involvement in fine dining establishments.
Familiarity with premium cocktails, wines, and spirits.
Ability to accommodate a flexible part-time/on-call schedule, with the possibility of transitioning to full-time hours as required by business needs.
Comfortable with working in various locations on property.
Currently holds union Pour card for state of Nevada.
