It is the primary responsibility of the Apprentice Bartender to service guests in a courteous and timely manner while ensuring that they maintain a clean, organized, and stocked outlet.
- Adhere to policies and procedures and liquor laws
- Perform all opening and closing duties, based upon shift assignment.
- Clean all equipment, tools, and supplies and ensure equipment remains in good working order
- Re-fill ice coolers, garnish trays, straws and napkins
- Turnover/Takeover station according to established procedures
- Assist bartender in drink preparation
- Ensure Pool liquor and beer cages remain locked at all times and keep a constant track of bottle and beer counts
- Prepare order to replenish stock at bar to pre-determined par levels
- Ability to mix and serve drinks following standard recipes
- Excellent customer service skills
- Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 1 year of experience as a Bar Porter or Apprentice Bartender
- At least 21 years of age
