Gustave Boulangerie & Brasserie in Alexandria, VA is looking for one bartender to join our team. We are located in the heart of historical neighborhood Del Ray. Our ideal candidate is attentive, punctual, and hard-working.

Responsibilities

• Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages
• Interact with customers, take orders and serve snacks and drinks
• Assess customers needs and preferences and make recommendations
• Plan and present bar menu
• Check customer's identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age
• Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
• Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
• Comply with all food and beverage regulations
• No late hours

Qualifications

• Proven working experience as a bartender
• Knowledge of a second language will be considered a plus
• Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
• Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean
• Relevant training certificate

Available shifts and compensation: We have available shifts all days of the week. Compensation is $12.00 - $25.00/hour.
