Barista/Play Center Staff

Responsibilities:

- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving any issues or complaints

-Ensuring that all play equipment, toys, and eating areas are maintained clean and organized

-Sanitize toys throughout the day

-Coordinate and prep for upcoming birthday parties and events
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and smoothies
- Take customer orders and accurately enter them into the cash register or POS system
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including restocking supplies as needed
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe and clean environment
- Operate espresso machines, blenders, and other equipment to prepare beverages

Qualifications:

-Love working around children
- Previous experience in a coffee shop/cafe or retail environment preferred
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and making change
- Knowledge of retail math concepts for calculating discounts, percentages, and sales totals
- Familiarity with POS systems, such as Clover POS, is a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members effectively
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks during busy periods

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.50 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
