Bar Manager

Big Tyme Billiards is Houston's largest pool hall. Big Tyme has been opened for 12 years and is always striving to be the best in the industry. We are actively hiring for a Night Bar Manager that is high energy, motivated, experienced and knowledgable about bar operations.
This job is working 3-4 night shifts per week. You must be available to work in the evenings from 5 pm to approx 4 am on these nights
Bar Manager Job Responsibilities:

• Communicate company policy, standards and procedures to staff
• Direct and manage staff members to meet standards and objectives and when necessary discipline staff when not followed.
• Ensure staff operates within company policies
• Appropriately delegates tasks to staff.
• Knowledge of TABC Laws, able to teach and enforce the laws
• Oversee the preparation and presentation of beverages to meet set standards
• Resolve customer complaints promptly and ensuring customer satisfaction
• Monitor cleanliness and hygiene of bar area
• Promote and practice compliance with fire, health, safety and hygiene standards and regulations
• Oversee accurate cash-up procedures and ensure necessary paperwork is complete
• Ensure adherence to cash management procedures
• Ensure adherence to stock control procedures
• Check stock is correctly rotated and stored to reduce wastage

• Knowledge or willing to learn pool etiquette, Leagues, Tournaments, and Event operations.

Education, Experience, & Licensing Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Active TABC license
• Active Food Manager's Certification
• Prior experience working in a bar or restaurant.
• 3-5 years of supervisory experience.

Compensation: $23,000.00 - $35,000.00 per year
