```Job Summary:```
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Front of House Manager to oversee the daily operations of our restaurant. As the Front of House Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring exceptional customer service, managing the dining area, and coordinating with the kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations.
```Duties:```
- Manage and supervise all front of house staff, including servers, hosts/hostesses, and bartenders
- Train new employees on restaurant policies, procedures, and customer service standards
- Ensure excellent customer service by addressing customer concerns and resolving any issues that may arise
- Oversee the seating of guests and manage reservations to optimize table turnover
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery
- Monitor inventory levels of supplies such as napkins, utensils, and condiments
- Maintain a clean and organized dining area, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
- Handle cash transactions and manage the point-of-sale (POS) system
```Experience:```
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Previous experience in food service management or a similar role
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations calmly and professionally
- Knowledge of food production processes and food safety regulations
- Proficiency in using POS systems for order processing and cash handling
- Experience in interviewing, hiring, training, and managing staff
- Familiarity with coffee preparation techniques is a plus
- Leadership skills to effectively motivate and guide your team
- Experience in banquet operations is preferred
