Summary of Job Duties: Serves beverages and food items to Friends seated at tables in bar or pool area. (must be at least 21 years of age)
Specific and Essential Responsibilities and Duties:
- Takes beverage order and relays it to Pool Bartender.
- Collects order from Bartender, adds appropriate garnish, places on tray, and serves to Friends with cocktail napkins.
- Computes bill, accepts and processes payment using approved funds/forms of payment.
- Up-sells liquor.
- Suggestive sells specialty and house cocktails, beers and wines.
- Thorough knowledge of liquor types.
- Thorough knowledge of in-house liquor, beer and wine selection.
- Takes orders for and serves light meals and hors d'oeuvres.
- Requests identification from Friends when legal age is questioned and serves alcoholic beverages in accordance with service guidelines.
- Removes empty or dirty glasses and bottles and returns them to the bar or kitchen.
- Adheres to Uniform and Appearance Policy for the Pool area.
- Communicate and interact with Friends and Family Members in a professional and upbeat manner.
- Maintain an open line of communication with Supervisors and Managers concerning all Guest Services related issues, problems and/or solutions.
- Maintain a positive and professional demeanor during all interactions with fellow Family Members, Friends and Vendors.
- Ability to accept performance feedback in professional manner.
- Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent
- Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays
Preferred:
- Six (6) months experience as a cocktail and/or food server in a similar environment
- Experience working in a similar resort setting
