Boulder Country Club is currently seeking committed individuals to join our Events Team. We prioritize delivering exceptional member experiences, and the role of a Banquet Team Member is essential in achieving this goal.
As a Banquet Team Member, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth execution of member events, weddings, corporate parties, and any other functions at the Club. Your primary responsibilities include adhering to specified instructions and timelines as laid out in the Banquet Event Order (BEO), providing excellent service to both members and guests and actively contributing to the success of each event. Banquet Team Members operate under the guidance of the Banquet Captain, and overall direction from the Event Director.
Responsibilities
- Efficiently and seamlessly serve guests at buffet, plated, or cocktail-style events and weddings.
- Serve food and beverages to guests courteously and professionally following proper server etiquette and timing.
- Monitor guest satisfaction and promptly address any concerns or requests to ensure a positive experience.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Banquet Captain or Event Director to support the overall operation of the club.
- Clear tables efficiently and discreetly, removing used dishes and utensils while maintaining a tidy and organized dining area.
- Resetting event space for normal club services includes putting away tables and chairs, cleaning up event functions, and putting items back in their designated storage space.
- Any other tasks as assigned by the Banquet Captain and Event Director.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a banquet server or in a similar hospitality role is preferred.
- Strong customer service and hospitality skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure.
- Ability to multitask and think quickly on your feet.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to lift and carry trays, tables, equipment, and supplies as needed.
- Proficient in food, beverage, and wine service protocols and etiquette.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a team-oriented setting.
