Banquet Set-Up Attendant

Great for those seeking a flexible schedule! :Woodfield Country Club is seeking an experienced Banquet Set-up Professional :to assist with the set-up and breakdown of equipment needed for each banquet function. Set-up attendants will communicate with the supervisor throughout the shift to be aware of the work needed. They are responsible for the set-up of all functions to the specifications of the Banquet Event Order (BEO). This includes considerable physical activity in transporting of awkward and heavy materials such as staging, tables, chairs, dance floors, etc., from storage area to ballroom/meeting rooms:.

SUMMARY:
The set-up and breakdown of equipment needed for each banquet function.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following:

• Responsible for maintaining organization of banquet storage areas.
• Supply and replenish meeting rooms with clean glasses and fresh water.
• Break down all meeting rooms where meetings have concluded so the room will be available to be reset for the next function.
• Maintain established cleaning schedule of meeting rooms and ballrooms so the rooms stay presentable at all times.
• Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.
• Perform any other job related duties as assigned.
• Knowledge of various types of equipment and set up styles used in the meeting rooms. For example: different table types (round, schoolroom, etc.).
• This position requires considerable physical activity on a continuous basis throughout the shift for room set up and break down with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Have in place, in a timely manner, all essential equipment needed to present a banquet function.
• Must have banquet room clean and ready for final set-up.
• Must have the ability to communicate in English.
