Private Country Club in Staten Island, NY is seeking Banquet Servers and Banquet Food Runners with previous experience in the catering and hospitality industry.
The Club is open up to 6 days a week for events.
We focus on weddings, galas, golf outings and other large-scale events along with smaller, personal events such as corporate meetings, cocktail parties and personal events. Flexibility in schedule with the ability to work mornings, weekends, evenings & holidays is required.

Qualifications and Skills:
Banquet Server:
Duties begin with set up before the event begins and continues throughout the event by efficiently and properly performing all service and sequence of service standards. During service, a Banquet Server is expected to anticipate guest needs and to attend to these needs to promote guest satisfaction and relations effectively.
- Knowledge of catering practices preferred
- Customer service oriented
- Ability to work quickly and as a team
- Ability to work late nights for events
- Reliable transportation
- Minimum 18 years of age
Banquet Food Runner:
As a banquet food runner, your duties will include but are not limited to following direction from the Maître’d and carrying food trays from the kitchen to the banquet hall on demand. In addition to adhering to the Maître’d guidelines, banquet Food Runners are responsible for preparation and set up of buffets with food presentation standards and practices in mind, assisting with food and table prep before the event begins, maintaining upkeep of Banquet equipment and decor to ensure longest useable life and assisting guests with their needs.
- Must have the ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
- Must have the ability to lift heavy items and have the ability to organize multiple orders.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 35 per week
