Form of workWe're currently seeking a full-time Banquet Attendant/Porter to be a part of our team. This position is for the person who likes to be a part of the magic of banquets and special events: Starting with an empty room or tent, or poolside area overlooking Hanalei Bay, you and the team create extraordinary experiences, setting up the foundation for once in a lifetime events - weddings, important birthday, luaus, and full moon celebrations. Those events can't take place without tables, chairs, dance floors, and buffet tables. When the event is over, you and the team will take items down, and return the tent, or banquet area back to a clean slate until the next memorable event. You can be part of the team that creates memorable moments. It takes preparation, thoughtful teamwork, and the ability to work in a calm manner during the special event's activities.
QualificationsAbout you...
- Passionate about hospitality, enjoys physical work and has previous similar work experience.
- Basic knowledge of banquet and event operations or you are excited to learn.
- A team player, hard worker, and able to lift and/or move up to 75 pounds with assistance.
- Flexible and willing to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
