Bank Teller

Provides basic cash receipt and payment services in accordance with bank’s policies and procedures.

• Receives checks and cash for deposits to accounts; verifies amount, examines checks for proper endorsement, and completes transaction on teller system
• Cash checks and processes withdrawals; pays out money after verification of signatures and customer balances.
• Maintains knowledge of branch policies and procedures; including but not limited to adhering to individual authority limits and cash drawer limits as set by the Board of Directors.
• Responsible for following opening and closing procedures, checking night depository bags, opening all safe vault doors under dual control.
• Balances cash drawer at the end of the shift and reports any discrepancies to the supervisor as necessary.
• Provide exceptional customer service, answer customer issues and have knowledge of who to refer client to.
• Report any issues or concerns to supervisors; work together for an acceptable outcome.

* Occasionally Drive mobile bank along established routes and perform scheduled courier pickup and delivery services to pre-determined commercial customer locations. Must have clean driving record.

• Follow all Bank and regulatory policies and procedures including but not limited to Bank Secrecy Act/Anti-Money laundering and Compliance requirements, actively seeking out the information and training needed for continuing education and knowledge of job functions and keeping current on various federal regulations and teller roles and responsibilities relating to each job function.
• Perform all essential duties listed, as well as any additional duties assigned.
• Regular, reliable attendance is an essential job function. policies and procedures.

Pay: $38,000.00 - $54,000.00 per year
