Job Summary
Responsible for the delivery of superior quality service while adhering to corporate and regulatory guidelines. Accurately and efficiently process and record transactions for bank clients including cashing checks, accepting deposits and withdrawals, processing loan payments and money transfers.
Essential Functions

The individual with this position in our company will be expected, on a regular basis, to perform any functions necessary, within scope of authority and expertise, to provide the highest level of service and responsiveness to customers:
- Deliver superior quality service in-person and by phone.
- Promote and advise on bank’s products and services.
- Receive and count working cash at beginning and end of day.
- Handle customer transactions including, but not limited to processing transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, and payments.
- Assist clients with basic account questions and information.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics
- Ability to operate bank software programs and standard office equipment and proficient typing skills
- Interpersonal skills necessary to relate to and empathize with others
- Characteristics including honesty, integrity, and professionalism
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
- Ability to maintain a friendly, cheerful, and courteous demeanor throughout the workday
- Ability to multi-task in a high traffic area of customer interaction and maintain a positive attitude at all times
- Previous bank experience is recommended, but not required
Minimum Qualifications
Education: High school diploma or high school equivalency diploma is required.
Experience: A minimum of two (2) years of cash handling experience is required.
Work Authorization
Must be authorized to work in the United States. No security clearance needed. Candidate will need to pass a drug test, credit history check, and criminal background check. Prior convictions could be considered if the candidate can show that they are not relevant to performance in this role.
