A.G. Cox Middle School is searching for a full time Band Teacher to serve students in sixth, seventh, and eighth grades. At this time, we are seeking candidates eligible for a North Carolina teaching license and have a teaching status of highly qualified. The Band Teacher will be responsible for assessing students' needs, planning effective instruction, and teaching students. Additionally, the Band Teacher must be willing to serve as a team player. The candidate must also be willing to participate in school and district level professional development. At a minimum, the Band Teacher will be required to conduct two concerts per school year and allow students to participate in All District, State, and MPA performance.
