We are currently seeking an Events & VIC Manager who will report to the Director of Client Engagement.

For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in New York, BALENCIAGA includes a reasonable estimate of the salary or hourly rate range for this role. This considers the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions; including but not limited to business or organizational needs, skill sets, experience and training, licensure, and certifications. In addition, where a candidate falls within the disclosed range estimate may be dependent on the applicable geographic differential associated with the location in which the position may be filled.
A reasonable estimate of the current salary range is $85,000 USD to $95,000 USD.

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE
EVENTS
- Responsible for Retail Events and Client Experiences in the Americas region
- Manage the calendar, planning, and execution of all in-store and out-of-store client activations
- Lead the communication with Stores to ensure full alignment on run of show and objectives
- Source/manage vendors and external partners in local markets
- Oversee vendor invoices, events budget, and relevant tracking
GIFTING
- Responsible for Client Gifting for holidays, life celebrations, and special projects
- Manage the full project lifecycle for all gifting campaigns
- Ensure seamless logistics, distribution, and compliance
- Oversee the gifting budget and relevant tracking
VIC (TOP CLIENTS)
- Partner with Director of Client Engagement on the Balenciaga Fashion Show 3x per year, including organizing client arrangements and hosting (international travel required)
- Support with VIC/VIP/Couture activities, e.g. galas, external events
- Spearhead ad hoc VIC projects required to drive top client engagement and loyalty
WHO YOU ARE
- Minimum 2 years' experience in Events in luxury retail fashion industry
- Prior work experience as key owner on large scale projects for full lifecycle, from ideation through execution
- Prior experience in a client/VIP-facing role a plus
- Flexibility to travel and work ad-hoc hours including evenings, weekends and holidays
- Ability to lead meetings/calls with a large audience of Retail Leaders
- Advanced skills in Excel and Power Point are mandatory
- Strong project management skills
- Able to conceive and drive messages and projects forward
- High understanding of luxury environment & highly client oriented
- Strong planning and organization skills
- Experience with confidentiality
- Attention to detail
- Interpersonal skills, able to partner cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to multitask in a fast paced, ever adapting environment
