- Assist with the preparation and production of baked goods, including measuring ingredients, mixing dough, and operating baking equipment
- Follow recipes and instructions to ensure consistent quality and taste of baked goods
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the bakery area, including cleaning equipment, utensils, and work surfaces
- Package and label finished products for display or sale
- Assist with inventory management, including monitoring stock levels and notifying supervisor of any shortages or expired ingredients
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting and assisting customers with their bakery orders
- Operate the cash register and handle customer transactions accurately
- Upsell bakery items to increase sales revenue
- Follow proper food handling and safety procedures to maintain a clean and safe working environment
