Bakery Assistant - Mariano's Vernon Hills

MARIANO'S IN VERNON HILLS is looking for a full or part time Bakery Assistant to join our outstanding team! Full time must have open availability, part time must be available weekends. Part time = 20-30 hours weekly

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Assist in the preparation and production of bakery items such as bread, pastries, and cakes
- Package finished bakery items
- Clean and maintain work area and equipment

Skills
- Good time management skills to meet production deadlines
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy trays or ingredients
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills to work effectively with other bakery staff

Note: Prior experience in a bakery or food service environment is preferred but not required. Training will be provided for candidates with a passion for baking and a willingness to learn.
