Wage: $14.50 – 17.50 per hour (up to an additional $5 per hour with tips)

Wired 815 owns and operates Wired Café, a hub for community connection and impact that offers an experience-rich combination of excellent coffee, food, and entertainment.

Wired Café is looking for an energetic individual with a passion for delivering exceptional, personalized customer service to join our team. As a Baker you will:

• Produce food and drink creations that inspire
• Work at the intersection of amazing coffee, great food and lively entertainment
• Help to foster a cafe experience that leaves guests satisfied every visit

Essential Responsibilities

• Bake fresh cookies, muffins, brownies and other pastries for the daily needs of the café catering orders
• Assist with other food preparation and food service as needed
• Set up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment
• Prepare ingredients to use in baking and cooking
• Follow recipes and presentation specifications
• Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
• Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen
• Ensure all food and other items are stored properly
• Check quality of ingredients
• Cleaning workspaces and common areas

Summary of Experience

• Prior experience working in a food service environment is preferred but not required

Qualifications

• Ability to work early mornings (often)
• Ability to work Saturdays (often)
• Ability to work evenings (occasionally)
• Have or willing to acquire a Food Handler’s Permit
