Position Description
Inside Sales Representatives play a fundamental role in achieving our established customer service goals of integrity, dedication and relationship building. Delco Sales Inside Sales Reps provide the best possible service, support and product selection to our customers. Inside Sales Representatives work with customers to find what they want, create solutions, and ensure a smooth sales process. Our number one goal is to create a brand preference for the manufacturers we represent. Developing relationships and trust by creating a customer service experience unmatched in all market segments
Duties and Responsibilities
Exceptional Customer Service Skills:
- Helpful and positive attitude with Customers
- Willing to make every effort to assure the Customers’ needs are met
- Returns calls and emails promptly
- Listen and problem solve for the Customer
- Escalate calls for assistance when necessary
- Procedural Line Knowledge for the brands we represent
- Answer telephone, fax, and e-mail inquiries, verifying and entering information into a computer system
- Processes orders by quoting product prices, delivery specifications and payment terms and by offering substitute products where appropriate
- Strong attention to detail: Paperwork is completed accurately and neatly Paperwork is completed in a timely manner
- Full understanding of product line(s): Follow process and procedures for selling all product lines we represent
- Alerts when products are out of stock and communicates needs
- Follow up throughout the completion of the customer's purchasing cycle
- Assists outside sales personnel by processing priority transactions
- Self-motivated and results oriented
- Strong work ethics, able to multi-task the activities with shifting priorities
- Proficient computer skills including MS Word Excel Google Products
- Team Player- Cooperative and able to work together to meet goals
Qualifications
1 year of Plumbing, Irrigation & Waterworks industry. Experience with backflow product is preferred.
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Must be computer literate: Microsoft products and warehouse/shipping software
Able to communicate clearly in English, verbally and through written form
Professional manner
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
