About the role

Glow International is currently seeking an experienced Golang Developer, with 2-5 years of expertise, to join our team. This role is pivotal in advancing our mission within the renewable energy sector, specifically focusing on the development and maintenance of distributed IoT systems.

• Distributed Systems Management: Test and maintain IoT systems, ensuring seamless operation both in the field and across server fleets.
• API Development: Build and expand APIs to enable other developers to access and utilize data effectively.
• System Design: Utilize your knowledge of TCP, UDP, and basic distributed systems design in developing robust solutions.
• Applied Cryptography: Implement public key cryptography, with a focus on ECDSA for message authorization.
• Hardware Interaction: Engage minimally with circuits and electrical engineering, working with ARM systems like the Raspberry Pi.

• 2-5 years of experience in Golang development
• Strong understanding of TCP, UDP, and distributed systems design
• Familiarity with applied public key cryptography, particularly ECDSA
• Experience with IoT devices and server fleet management
• Proficiency in building APIs and conducting rigorous testing and quality assurance
• Basic knowledge in circuits, electrical engineering, and ARM systems is advantageous
