Position: Back-Office Supervisor
Type: Part-time, 15-20 hours per week *Will consider full-time (30-40 hours per week)
Level: This is a Management position
Schedule: Half days M – F; or three full days (M,W,F) per week

Our growing clinic is seeking a Back Office Supervisor to provide leadership, education, and support to our busy team of Medical Assistants and Athletic Trainers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct supervision of all MA/ATs to meet our practice objectives. Currently, this number is 14.
- Schedule appropriate MA/AT staff to meet our daily operational objectives. Maintain staff coverage calendars and process MA/AT staff time cards. Ensure MA/AT staff are cross-trained so that staff resources are properly aligned, overtime is minimal, and there is always a balance of workloads across all MA/AT teams.
- Direct liaison with the Physician owners and Chief Operations Officer to ensure that patient needs are met, quality standards are maintained, costs are controlled, and productivity is maximized.
- Recruit, hire, train, develop, coach, and counsel MA/AT staff to maintain optimum levels of service to our patients.
- Monitor the flow of patients with the purpose of maximizing MA/AT efficiencies and reducing patient and provider wait times.
- Assure MA/AT staff are properly prepared with clean exam rooms, necessary instruments, and equipment, and assure that inventory of related medical supplies is cost-effective and of good quality.
- Provide oversight and compliance of all MA/AT-related reporting measures (MIPS), HIPAA rules, company policies, and related medical regulatory guidelines.
- Develop role-specific training plans for new staff and ensure key performance benchmarks are met on time.
- Develop and implement back-office initiatives related to quality, efficiencies, reporting, teamwork, and customer service.
Skills Required:
- Two years of direct supervisory experience, ideally in orthopedics.
- Ability to always act as a representative of practice.
- Demonstrates initiative related to strategics and mandatory processes.
