Responsibilities:
- Preparing ingredients and cooking dishes according to recipes.
- Ensuring that food is prepared and cooked to the correct specifications.
- Following food safety procedures to prevent cross-contamination and food-borne illnesses.
- Keeping kitchen clean and organized.
- Communicating effectively with the rest of the kitchen staff to ensure that dishes are prepared and cooked in a timely manner.
- Operating and maintaining cooking equipment, such as ovens, stovetops, and slicers.
- Assisting with inventory management and ordering supplies as needed.
- Adhering to health and safety regulations.
