We are seeking responsible and caring individuals (who are current students) to join our team as a Babysitter/Nanny and Organizer/Housekeeper as needed. As a Babysitter/Nanny, you will be responsible for providing quality care and supervision for children in a safe and nurturing environment. At beta.colledge.us, we connect students to gigs, and our client is seeking someone in the NJ area ASAP.
Responsibilities:
- Provide attentive and compassionate care for children of various ages
- Create a stimulating and educational environment for children to learn and grow
- Engage children in age-appropriate activities, such as reading, arts and crafts, and outdoor play
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks
- Maintain a clean and organized play area
- Follow parents' instructions regarding daily routines, including nap times and bedtime
- Monitor children's safety at all times, ensuring a secure environment
- Administer basic first aid when necessary
Requirements:
- Previous experience in infant care, daycare, or childcare preferred
- Knowledge of first aid and CPR is a HUGE plus
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities effectively
- Excellent communication skills with both children and parents
- Strong organizational skills to maintain a structured daily routine
- Ability to cook or prepare nutritious meals for children
- Genuine love for working with children of all ages
- Must complete a quick background check
