Essential Functions:
- Excellent use of standard measurement equipment (i.e., micrometers, verniers, etc.
- Excellent Blueprint reading skills
- Experience and good skills on comparator
- Program and operate CMM using Pc-Dmis Required
- Good math and trigonometry skills
- Ability/Availability to work overtime and weekends when required by customer demands
- Experience and good skills with windows applications (i.e., MSWord, MS Excel, etc.)
- Experience and good skills with SPC, ISO9002, and other quality standards/techniques.
- Some knowledge of tool calibration standards and techniques.
- Review proposals (i.e., prints) to ensure a proper quality plan is feasible with the given job
- Institute quality plan for WIP jobs.
- Actively seek out WIP jobs and complete First-Off inspections to assist in the timely delivery of customer products.
- Familiarize yourself with shipment priorities and ensure that these jobs are not delayed due to quality/inspection reasons.
- Reduce scrap through accurate First-Off inspections and awareness of faulty machining procedures.
- Inspect incoming materials (tools, material, customer returns, etc.)

- Interface with customers for inspection techniques, quality issues, and reporting when necessary.
- Oversee all operations in AFM absence
- Communication with all AFMs and CETs as needed.
- Trouble shoot with team members as needed to maintain workflow.
- Monitor and improve efficiency
- Work and effectively communicate with co-workers and supervisors.
- Ability to adhere to the Core Values of the Company.
REQUIREMENTS
Education: Minimum of High School Diploma or equivalent. Minimum 2 years advanced education-in-trade
Experience: Minimum 5 years work experience in area of work
