B Operator - Mpls Nights

We currently have an exciting opening for an experienced night Chemical B Operatorat our Minneapolis, MN manufacturing facility.

Ideal Candidate must be able to:

• Work 12-hour night shifts - 6 pm to 6 am - Monday – Thursday.
• Lift up to 50 pounds, bend to work at ground level and climb ladders with heavy raw materials.
• Able to be medically cleared to wear a respirator for nuisance dust and as well as a full-face air purifying respirator
• Work safely in extreme work conditions hot and cold
• Communication with multiple people in various areas of the plant

Required:

• 1-2 years chemical manufacturing and handling experience
• High School degree or equivalent.
• Able to read and write and perform basic math functions
• Pass an entry level exam
• Strong knowledge of a computer systems
• Valid driver’s license

Major Responsibilities:

• Move trailer tankers in and out of the plant yard using a tractor truck
• Load trailers tankers with finished product and scale them in and out
• Collect samples of finished product for retains and testing following procedures
• Manage inventory transactions and cycle times using a computer
• Receive and release rail cars
• Unload raw materials from rail cars and trailer tankers into storage tanks
• Maintain yard area clean
• Performs duties of other positions when required (i.e. Helper, Operator Trainee)
• Punctuality and regularity of attendance are job requirements
• Attend monthly safety/quality meetings
