SalaryRandall-Reilly is seeking a AWS Solution and Security Specialist reporting directly to the VP of IT. You’ll be a key player in designing, building, and securing our next-generation SaaS platform on AWS and within our organization. You'll leverage your deep expertise in cloud technologies, SaaS management, security frameworks, and Linux administration to build a robust, scalable, and secure environment that supports our growth.
Responsibilities:
Architect and lead the migration of data center infrastructure and applications to AWS, with a focus on optimizing costs, security, and scalability.
Develop robust security controls and best practices for the post-migration environment, addressing potential vulnerabilities arising from the company split.
Architect and implement secure, scalable, and cost-effective AWS solutions for our SaaS platform, utilizing services like EC2, VPC, S3, IAM, Lambda, Cloudfront and Security services like Security hub, GuardDuty and Inspector.
Design and implement robust security controls and best practices within the SaaS platform, complying with relevant industry standards and regulations.
Manage and optimize Linux systems within the AWS environment, ensuring smooth operation and high availability.
Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) scripts using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation for automated infrastructure provisioning and configuration management.
Collaborate with development teams to integrate security considerations into the software development lifecycle.
Partner with DevOps engineers to design and implement automated CI/CD pipelines for rapid and secure deployments within the migrated AWS environment.
Monitor and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure and application performance, identifying and resolving issues proactively.
Stay up-to-date on the latest AWS services, security trends, and industry best practices.
Document, share knowledge, and contribute to continuous improvement of cloud and Security processes.
Qualifications:
7+ years of experience in designing, building, and securing cloud infrastructure on AWS.
Proven experience in Linux administration and scripting.
Extensive experience with data center migrations to AWS
Proven ability to manage complex infrastructure and applications separation between multiple organizations.
Strong understanding of OWASP security best practices and relevant industry regulations.
Experience with SSO protocols and integrating SaaS tools into SSO platforms
Expertise in deploying and managing EDR solutions in both server and workstation environments.
Strong incident response skills, including threat analysis, investigation, and remediation coordination.
Experience with Terraform or CloudFormation.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
Passion for learning and staying ahead of the curve in cloud and Security technologies.
Bonus Points:
Experience with Google Workspace, Atlassian, Slack.
Industry certifications (e.g., Security+, CCNA, CISSP, CySA+, etc.)
AWS certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect, Security Specialty)

The following compensation information is a good faith estimate and is provided in accordance with applicable state laws. The base salary generally ranges between $120,000/year - $140,000/year. This range is an estimate based on an applicant’s skills, experience, and training.
