Summary:
Support the removal/installation of avionics electrical components, fabrication of wire harness, installations, terminations, continuity checks, and functional tests of avionics/electrical systems.
Essential Functions:

Support the removal/installation of avionics electrical components, fabrication of wire harness, installations, terminations, continuity checks, and functional tests of avionics/electrical systems.
Essential Functions:
- Read and understand complex electrical drawings and schematics
- Assist in the installation, modification and fabrication of wiring and electrical components, fixtures, and associated equipment per company specifications
- Troubleshoot, repair, and test avionics and instrument systems installed on various airframes.
- Experience using basic hand tools, aircraft test equipment and electrical test equipment
- Accompany flight crews to perform in-flight testing as well as preliminary avionics and instrument systems testing as required
- Communicate and interact professionally with customers to educate or answer questions regarding technical aspects within area of expertise
- Travel to customer locations to perform essential job functions
Required Education and Experience:
- Experience using standard test equipment (i.e., Multimeter, Pitot/Static/Nav/XPDR test sets)
- Experience reading Engineering Drawings and specifications
- 2+ years of avionics experience
