RoomReady is looking to expand our Audio Video Support team with a responsible, customer-focused, results driven individual. The Remote Support Technician will provide level 1 or level 2 support to field installation teams and clients as it pertains to code implementation, device programming and diagnostics, service tickets, and close out operations. The ideal candidate will be experienced in AV installations and troubleshooting. This position will be located in in our Normal, IL location, providing support remotely via telephone and video teleconferencing as well as regional onsite support. Some travel is required, around 30% of overnight travel. When not traveling, they will be expected to report to the office on a hybrid (3 days a week) schedule.

Skills and Qualifications:
As a Remote Support Technician you need excellent communication and customer service skills combined with a technically sound understanding of some of the following: Cisco, Polycom, Crestron, AMX, Extron, Biamp, and other AV/VTC/UCC products. Specific required qualifications for the Remote Support Technician position include:
- Exposure to AV design principles
- Familiarity with Audio DSP programming and theory
- CTS or equivalent experience
- Proficiency with Creston, Biamp, Dante, and other manufacturer software suite
- Understanding of AV control systems and IT networks
- 1- 3 years of working as a field installer and/or Remote Support in Audio Video Devices
- Experience with ticketing systems and Help Desk Process
- Experience with training end users over the phone and or remotely
