Position Summary:

As a Flat Rate Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles to the highest standards of quality. Your role is essential in delivering efficient and effective automotive services, meeting or exceeding customer expectations, and contributing to the overall success of our dealership.

Key Responsibilities:

• Vehicle Diagnosis: Utilize your expertise and diagnostic tools to accurately identify automotive issues, ensuring a precise diagnosis.
• Repairs and Maintenance: Perform a wide range of repairs and maintenance tasks on Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, and Ram vehicles, including engine, transmission, electrical, and brake systems.
• Efficiency: Work efficiently to meet or exceed flat rate hours while maintaining the quality of workmanship.
• Team Collaboration: Collaborate with service advisors, fellow technicians, and other team members to provide seamless service and exceptional customer experiences.
• Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date with the latest automotive technology and industry trends through ongoing training and development opportunities.
• Safety: Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized workspace.

Qualifications:

• Valid ASE certifications or equivalent qualifications.
• Proven experience as a Flat Rate Technician in an automotive repair setting.
• Proficiency in using diagnostic equipment and tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 2 years of experience as an auto technician
• Knowledge in all aspects of automotive repair and maintenance
• Fast, eager learner and team player
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong customer service skills
• Computer skills and willingness to learn new problems
• Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
• Clean driving record & valid driver’s license
