Reynolds GMC is seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented Automotive Service Greeter to join our team in West Covina, California. This full-time, hourly position in the auto industry will involve warmly welcoming customers as they arrive for vehicle service appointments, providing exceptional customer service, and supporting the overall operations of the dealership. As an individual contributor, this role will play a critical part in ensuring that our customers have a positive and seamless experience at Reynolds GMC.
Compensation & Benefits:
This position offers a competitive hourly rate of $17 to $20 per hour, paid biweekly. In addition to a competitive salary, employees are eligible for benefits such as health insurance, 401(k) , and paid time off. Responsibilities:
- Greet customers as they enter the service area, providing a warm and friendly welcome
- Direct customers to the appropriate service advisor or department for their scheduled appointment
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area
- Assist with administrative tasks, such as filing and data entry, as needed
- Monitor customer wait times and communicate with service advisors to ensure efficient and timely service
- Provide customers with updates on the status of their vehicle and answer any questions or concerns they may have
- Proactively resolve customer complaints and concerns in a professional and timely manner
- Liaise with the service and parts departments to ensure smooth communication and customer satisfaction
- Some cash handling/ cashiering experience necessary
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure overall dealership goals and objectives are met
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous customer service experience, preferably in the automotive industry
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office
- Experience using dealership management systems is a plus
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings
- Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record
